Have great coffee and try cute cafes!

What's better than a good almond cappuccino and pastel de nata after a big surf?

Sagres has so many amazing coffee bars it's hard to choose which one to try next. Here are a few of my faves! ☕

  • Picnic Sagres. The Danish pastries and sandwiches here are soooo good. They also have a great selection of craft beers and natural wines. I love this place! Check out their instagram at @picnicsagres.

  • The Laundry Lounge. With great coffee, fresh pastel de nata, croissants and smoothy bowls you can't go wrong. They also offer daily yoga classes on the roof with a beautiful view! Check them out @laundryloungesagres.

Explore the beautiful beaches

Prepare to be enchanted by the abundance of beautiful beaches that await you in and around Sagres. Jump in your car, hit the road, and discover the hidden treasures of Praia do Amado, Praia do Beliche, Praia da Arrifana, and more.

Each beach has its own unique charm.. Don't miss the opportunity to explore both the south and west coast beaches, as they showcase contrasting beauty. While the south coast beaches boast serene coves and gentle waves, the west coast beaches are known for their wild and untamed allure. Whichever coast you choose, both will leave you in awe with their pristine beauty.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the mesmerizing coastal wonders of Sagres. Uncover the beauty that lies within each beach, and create lasting memories along this stunning coastline. The perfect thing to do when you're not riding waves!

5.

Visit cabo de São Vicente at sunset

The most southwestern point of Europe, Cabo de São Vicente, is about 6 kilometers from Sagres. The point is quite spectaculair and I recommend checking it out at sunset. When the sky colors turn blue and purple and you're on top of the cliffs at (as they call it) end of the world, its just a magical experience. The light house is also a little museum you can entre to learn about Portugals maritime history.

6.

Go supping!

Sagres offers an exceptional setting for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), with endless sights to behold. The dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear blue ocean create a backdrop of spectacular views that will leave you in awe.

To make the most of your SUP adventure, I would recommend booking a guided tour. Not only will you navigate the waters with ease, but you'll also have the opportunity to learn about the natural wonders and historical significance of this extraordinary region. Immerse yourself in the stories and information shared by knowledgeable guides, and gain a deeper appreciation for this special piece of Portugal. Embark on a guided SUP tour and discover the magic that Sagres has to offer from a unique perspective.
