My tips around Filha do Pisco in Burgau

Surrounded by the stunning Costa Vicentina Natural Park, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Portugal. I hope you’ll love it here as much as I do! ☀️
Things to do in (and around) Burgau
Burgau is perfect if you're into outdoor activities like hiking (there are some beautiful hikes around!), supping, surfing, climbing and coasteering. You will also find many cute fishing villages around to visit like Salema, Sagres and Praia da Luz. The Larger town of Lagos and it's beautiful Ponta de Piedade is also definitely worth visiting! One of my favourite things to do is hiking along the stunning coastline, right from Burgau!
Head east towards Praia da Luz (around 5 km) or continue all the way to Lagos. Perfect for a lovely lunch or a sunset drink by the sea. You can easily take a taxi back to the apartment.
Or head west towards Salema and beyond. The coastline is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views all along the way. Just put on your walking shoes and enjoy!
Surfing:
Many days in fall, winter and early spring you'll find nice and easy longboard waves right on Burgau beach.

The oceanfront location, the lovely atmosphere, and, of course, the high-quality food and excellent service.

Why I love it: It's super cozy, even on colder days, and very affordable. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a good meal.

Café Horizon Breakfast and the best coffee in town
Why I love it: Hands down, the best coffee in town, delicious banana bread, and just an all-around great vibe. Whenever I'm in Burgau, you'll find me here almost every morning!
My tip: Just go. You won't regret it!
Sul Breakfast, coffee with a view, and lunch
Why I love it: The views are amazing, the coffee is excellent, and the interior is beautiful. I also love their creative, experimental dishes that offer something a little different.
My tip: Don't just stop by for the coffee — try the breakfast, too!
Café do Burgau Breakfast, coffee, lunch, sandwiches, and pizza on Wednesdays
Why I love it: It's wonderfully low-key, relaxed, and unpretentious. The perfect spot to start your day at a slower pace.
My tip: Get the cinnamon roll. It's the best!

Corso Pizza
Why I love it: Located right next to Café Horizon, Corso is all about good food, a cozy atmosphere, friendly people, and very reasonable prices. What's not to love?
My tip: Perfect for a relaxed pizza night without breaking the bank.
